Dr. Buba Adamu Ndawayo received his Bachelor of Science Geography (BSc. Geography 1997) from University of Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. Master in Science (MSc Geography 2011), from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria,and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD. Environmental Planning and Management, 2017) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is currently a Senior Lecturer. in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with proficiency in environmental management, climate change, modeling of climate and forecasting, waste management, disaster risk assessment and management and policy implications.

He received honoree awards of student graduating on time (UPM 2017), supporting the conversion of some quality PhD thesis into books for the use in Nigeria tertiary institutions (TetFund, 2021). He is a member of Nigerian Metrological Society (NMETs, 2011), Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG, 2011). Dr. Adamu, has nine (9) publications in peer reviewed journals and eight (8) conference proceedings.
