Dr Ibrahim Mukhtar is an environmental hydrologist interested inHydroinformatics and flood risk management. He is also specialist in environmental standards enhancement. He obtained his PhD in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He has attended several conferences, workshops and has published scholarly articles in reputable local, national and International journals.
Dr. Mukhtar have participated in many local and international projects on Disaster management, evaluation of social investment programs. He was also a consultant at the World Bank for the evaluation of the MAFITA program and is presently the research coordinator in the Center of Excellence in Sustainable Procurement, Environment and Social Standards Enhancement, sponsored by the World Bank.
