Dr Sule Muhammad Zubairu,is an environmental social scientist interested in energy poverty and renewable energy transition in the developing countries. He also specialized in environmental auditing and environmental risk assessment. He gained his PhD in Geography from the Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University, UK. He has attended several conferences, workshops and has published scholarly articles in reputable local, national and International journals.
Dr Sulehave participated in many local and international projects on energy poverty, energy transition, and rural livelihood. Sule’s recent research projects include: ‘Beyond the technological fix: Sustainable energy options and development in Nigeria’. Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), Funded by DFID, UK and ‘Development and Deployment of a Thermal Storage Integrated Solar Cooker System for Domestic Applications in Rural Areas.’ Funded by the National Research Fund (NRF), Nigeria.
